The journal is published twice a year. It is a multi-disciplinary outlet and accepts well-researched papers in all areas of urban and rural built environment, including architecture, urban and regional planning, urban and rural economic planning and development, environmental issues, economy, governance, tourism, recreation, housing, real estate development, etc. It also accepts technical reports, scholarly reviews of journals and books.
Typescript:
Manuscripts shall be written in 1.5 line spacing on one side of the paper with a margin of at least 2.5 cm all round on A4 quality paper. The position of tables, illustrations and computer output should be indicated in the text. Tables and legends of illustrations should be typed in sequences separated at the end of the manuscript and numbered with Arabic numerals. A short running title of not more than 40 characters (including spaces) should be indicated, including the title of the paper, name(s) of the author(s), their institutional affiliations and present position. All papers should not exceed 25 pages (8, 000) words, including illustrations and references.
Key Words:
Up to six key words (index words) should be provided by the author(s) written below abstract to assist indexing and information retrieval Systems.
Illustrations:
Original drawings should be submitted preferably not larger than 30cm by 23cm in Indian ink on transparent paper. All lettering should be legible for easy reproducibility. All explanations should be in the legend. Photographs should be reduced to the barest minimum to where their presence is inevitable.
References:
References shall be presented at the end of the paper using the American Psychological Association (APA) also known as Havard style, or the Author/year style.
Copyright/Offprint’s:
Authors submitting manuscripts should do so with the understanding that if they are accepted for publication, exclusive copyright in the paper shall be assigned to NIA Anambra State Chapter Journal of Architecture and Environment (NIAASCJAE). To this effect, the authors shall get an electronic copy of the paper and a hard copy of the journal in which the paper appears.
Contribution to Publication:
All authors will be required to pay processing fees for their papers and after the papers have been accepted for publication, will be required to pay appropriate publication and page fees.

Three hard copies and a CD copy of the paper should be submitted, written in English. Each paper should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 350 words at the head of the paper and should be intelligible to the general reader without reference to the main text. Abbreviations should be avoided. All articles are referred.
