Abstract

This study evaluates the cost-benefit analysis of integrating energy-efficient strategies into building design. Through a comprehensive literature review and case studies, it investigates the potential financial savings, environmental benefits, and potential challenges associated with these strategies. The research finds that while upfront costs may be higher, the long-term savings in energy consumption and reduced operational expenses often justify the initial investment. Additionally, energy-efficient buildings can contribute to improved occupant health and comfort, enhanced property values, and reduced environmental impact. The study concludes by recommending policies and incentives to promote energy-efficient building practices.
